What is Continuing Education ? Continuing Education (or 'Con-Ed') starts with the Advanced Open Water course and thereafter takes two tracks. The first track takes you through the Medic First Aid and then the Rescue Diver courses. These are two substantial courses that equip you to handle diving emergencies. The second track involves taking five or more specialities from the wide selection available. Once you've completed the Medic First Aid and Rescue Diver courses and gone onto acquire five specialities you can call yourself a Master Scuba Diver !

Advanced Open Water £180
The PADI Rescue Diver Course makes the serious subject of accident prevention and management enjoyable and rewarding. It takes your focus beyond your self and your buddy to make diving safer for others as you learn to recognise and prevent potential diving accidents and how to handle them if they do occur. Rescue Academic Sessions are held at the Scuba Centre on the second weekend of every month. Rescue Open Water Exercises can be completed on Scuba centre holidays or in the UK on the third weekend of every month.
Increase your diving skills and focus on the underwater activities that interest you most. Speciality certifications expose you to exciting new skills and environments. Courses can be completed in a weekend or over 2 days with emphasis on hands-on learning i.e. Diving!
(Specialities are available on Scuba Centre holidays and on UK boat diving weekends)
When you have completed PADI Advanced Open Water, Rescue Diver and any five speciality courses, you are eligible to earn a PADI Master Scuba Diver rating. This prestigious rating is the highest non professional credential in recreational diving. This rating is free if you've done the required specialities with us, or one of the packages outlined below. |
