The Cruise & Stay program
samples diving in two different areas of the Northern Red Sea
and combines both Hotel based and Liveaboard diving.
Camel Hotel and Dive Club were
one of the first dive operations to be established in Naama
Bay back in the days when there was nothing but desert and
sea. Now there is a fine new hotel and dive centre in the heart
of what is now the centre of town. Camel has always been a
favourite with UK divers, and with the Dive Centre, Accommodation
and evening entertainment all in one place is an ideal location
for experienced and new divers alike. Camel Hotel offers 30
Superior rooms with terraces over looking the pool. All rooms
are fully air conditioned with private bathrooms, telephone
and voice mail. There are also standard rooms available with
the same facilities but no terrace and a back view. There are
several choices for dining including an A'la carte restaurant,
Tandoori restaurant, internet café and oriental café,
also the Roof Top Bar and Camel Bar offer a wide range of snacks
along with live music, an ideal spot for a post dive drink.
Camel Dive Centre
runs daily dive boats the famous sites within reach of Sharm such
as Ras um Sid, Ras Mohammed (Marine Park)and the Straits of Tiran..
Tempest is a new liveaboard from Tornado Marine Fleet, builders and
owners of the award winning boats Hurricane, Typhoon and Cyclone.
She is 25 meters in length and accommodates 12 guests in en-suite
cabins. Fully air conditioned throughout she has all the facilities
and comfort of her big sisters. Meals, water, tea/coffee, soft drinks
and snacks are included, as well as tank and weights. There are three
dives per day plus night dives and sites visited include the famous
Thislegorm and the wrecks at Abhu Nuhas.

3 days Local Diving, 3/4 Nights Camel Hotel
Accommodation is on a B&B basis. Local boat diving is based on two dives
per day. Lunch is optional on the boat and is €5 per day including drinks.
Entry to the Ras Mohammed national park is charged at $5 per visit

day Liveaboard Dive Safari
Three days and 3/4nights onboard diving to Ras Mohammed, Thistlegorm and Abhu
Nuhas. Included are all meals, tea, coffee, snacks, tanks and weights, 3 to 4
dives per day, marine park fees. |
