The famous Camel Dive Club has a satellite centre on the hotel's beach and offers guests the chance to do some house reef diving as well as a place to store gear. Every morning divers are picked up from the hotel and transfered to the Naama Bay jetty for their two daily boat dives. The Camel Dive Club is a PADI 5* Instructor Development Centre offering a full service from learning to dive, to guided boat diving, try dives and technical training. The area is well known for excellent diving with stunning drop offs, coral mazes, canyons and historical wrecks. All are encrusted in a huge variety of hard and soft coral buzzing with colourful tropical fish. Turtles, Dolphins and Sharks are often seen cruising by and Whale Sharks have been spotted in the area at certain times of year. The dive sites visited stretch from the reefs of the Straits of Tiran to Ras Mohammed Marine Park. The famous World War II wreck of SS Thistlegorm and the steamship wreck of SS Dunraven can be explored too on specially scheduled trips that run several times a week.
