El Gouna is a new self contained resort 22km north of Hurghada, built in traditional style with the feeling of an Arabic village. Nestled between the Eastern Desert Mountains and the crystal clear waters of the Red Sea on a 3km stretch of beach the resort consists of over 300 deluxe rooms all overlooking the sea, each with private bathrooms, a/c, mini bar, satellite TV and international phone lines. There are several restaurants and bars all offering a la carte, local dishes and European and Continental food. This beautiful stretch of beach is perfect for relaxing but for the more adventurous there are plenty activities. This hotel is ideal for families, divers and non-divers alike.

Dive Tribe at El Gouna is a PADI 5 star IDC center established in 1999. They have received many awards from PADI including the certificate of Recognition of Excellence. Dive Tribe endeavors to put the clients needs first, with emphasis on providing a professional and safe service, whilst producing a fun atmosphere for the customer and staff. Dive Tribe offer several programs that are suitable for children including bubble-maker and junior open water and offer a wide range of PADI courses including technical diving. Dive Tribe operates four different types of boat, including a rib, a glass bottom boat, and two daily dive boats.

Go Diving Package
Our advertised package is 7 nights in a twin room on a B&B basis with a 5 day diving package (2 boat dives per day) including the hire of tanks and weights, transfers to/from your hotel and international flights from UK to Hurghada. The day trips leave from the jetty each morning and visit the dive sites around Abu Nuhas and Shadwan Island. The boats are out for the whole day and return back to the jetty at around 4:00pm. Lunch can be brought on the boat for around 5 Euros. All prices are subject to availability at the time of booking.

A daily boat charge of €3.00 per day will take effect from 1 March 2008, the charge will apply to all divers, passengers, snorkelers departing from the Abydos or Abu Tig marinas.
