Nautilus Explorer is a large custom built 38 meter steel hulled Liveaboard that takes up to 24 divers and provides a comfortable and stable dive platform. The trip departs on Mondays from San Jose del Cabo for a 8 night itinerary and offers up to 4 dives daily at dive sites around Isla San Benedicto, Socorro Island and Roca Partida. In the remote oceanic volcanic Revillagigedo Archipelago. This area is known for the friendliest Mantas and Dolphins in the world.
Nine staterooms and two larger executive suites are fully equipped with en-suite bathrooms, air conditioning and storage space. The salon is the social centre of the boat and guests can stretch out on the comfortable sofas, grab a book from the library or download digital images to the dedicated computers. The ship's bar serves an extensive list of wines, beers and a great selection of single malts for those cheeky sundowners. The dinning room is where delicious fresh food is served up to four times a day and there are always plenty of snacks available to nibble between dive. The mixture of European and Mexican food is served up on a buffet or to your table.
The sun decks are decorated with plenty of sun loungers for soaking up the sun and the jacuzzi bubbles away easing tired dive muscles. Kayaks are available for use. Marine ID classes are given onboard and the experienced crew are always on hand to share their extensive knowledge. Shoreline tours and Whale watching (in Season) are always on offer although going ashore is not permitted in this marine biosphere.
The dive deck is full equipped with ample space and can cater for rebreather divers and photographers. Nitrox is also available and paid for locally. The dive schedule is flexible and will be set according to dive conditions. An aluminum skiff and large inflatable are used to transport divers to and from the dive sites. The water level platform aids entry into the skiffs and kayaks. Nautilus Explorer repositions to a different dive site each day during lunch and you will have a total of 6 days of diving during the trip. The diving can be variable and due to the nature of this type of diving some days will be exceptional with loads of sightings and others wont have as many. A fantastic liveaboard and a must see dive destination - what more could you ask for?
