Cebu has been blessed with some of the best diving in the world and since 2006 the area around Moalboal has been declared a marine park. The islands warm crystal clear waters, excellent visability, steep reef walls or gently slopping bottoms team with over 2,000 different species of fish makes the area a divers heaven all year round! The abundance of soft and hard coral is staggering and all the weird and wonderful macro critters make this part of the world perfect for underwater photography. There is a sunken aeroplane at one site and a cave system at another and during February to May Whale Sharks migrate through the Straits that surround Cebu. With so much to discover, Cebu’s reefs should not be missed!!

From our Dive Centre in the Kasai Village you can expect the following dives:-
House Reef
Right in front of the diveshop. Our house reef offers a rich variety of hard and soft corals and a huge variety of marine creatures. A great place for night-dives and beginners wishing to take up scuba diving. Many of our Scuba courses are conducted in this area.
Tongo Point
Lots of caves and crevices here, turtles are frequently seen in addition to nudibranchs and many species of shells.Sharks can also be seen with increasing frequency. This spot offers good diving for both the beginner and more experienced diver.
Tuble Reef
A wall dive with a rich variety of soft corals, here you find many shells, big fan corals and plenty of colorful fish.
White Beach
This site has soft corals, gorgonians and sea fans. Here you can also see a lot of pelagic. fish and if you are really lucky you might spot a pilot whale. The beach is really beautiful and unspoiled if you wish you can have a picnic or barbecue on the beach after your dive. White beach is a very popular site for parties after a night dive too!
Ronda Bay
Along the coast going north you find Ronda Bay, the newest divespot around Moalboal. You also find a small sanctuary here that is quite wellpreserved. Being a sandy area there are chances of spotting Rays here. Also lots of softcorrals and sea pens.
Sunken Island
This underwater island raises up from the ocean depths to 25m in the middle of Tanon Strait. As the site can be difficult to locate quickly, we always bring a local fisherman who can find it easily. When you descend from the surface down into the deep blue water you only have the decent line as a reference point until you can see the top of the island looming ahead of you at approximately 20 m depth. Currents can be strong here so it is not a dive for the inexperienced. A lot of pelagic marine life passes by here including schools of tuna, barracuda, manta rays and (if youre lucky) a whaleshark. Frogfish and lion fish are usually in abundance at the top of the island.
Pescador Island
(Moalboal Marine Park)- is now a protected area. This giant mushroom rises from the seabed at 30m-40m. The underwater photographer has a marine paradise here. This is perhaps the best known dive site in the area. The famous "cathedral" is best dived at noon when light streams down into this giant underwater formation. Sharks are regularly seen at depths below 30 m. In the months of December to March you can see a big school of Hammerhead sharks if you go deep enough. Macro photography is very good at shallower depths.Pescador has 450 species of hard coral, probably the most diverse in the world.
Umbrella Point
400 metres after white beach, it is here you can dive on the airplane wreck. It has a nice wall and most of the dives in this area are drift dives. Look for turtles and Napoleon wrasses. The area between 15 meters up to 5 meters is covered with different kinds of hard and soft corals.
